"Zheuzhyk, Younik and other heroes of Belarusian fairy tales, myths and legends"

On May 8, 2018 in public institution of culture “Museum of local lore” in Kalinkovichy the opening of the exhibition “Zheuzhyk, Younik and other heroes of Belarusian fairy tales, myths and legends” took place.

The sculptures of characters created by the young sculptor Anton Shipitsa on illustrations of the artist Valery Slauk are presented at the exhibition. At the moment it is a unique collection of characters of fairy tales and legends of Belarus.

At the exhibition the visitors will meet Shatans, Damavik, Younik and other characters, and learn more about them: where they lived and in what relations with people they had.
